C&C Marine opened for business in 1997 with a 5,000 square-ft. shop and 300 ft. of waterfront bulkhead on the Harvey Canal in Harvey, Louisiana, to provide general steel repairs on inland barges.
Today, C & C Marine is situated on an expansive 30-acre facility situated between the Harvey and Algiers Locks on the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway (GIWW) in Belle Chasse, Louisiana. With approximately 230,000 square feet of fully-enclosed shop area, all equipped with overhead cranes, C&C Marine can simultaneously complete a multitude of projects in an efficient and timely manner, regardless of weather conditions. Additionally, C&C Marine operates three dry-docks along approximately 1,400 feet of water-front bulkhead on the GIWW, which allow C&C Marine to perform hull and topside repairs on barges of various types and sizes. C&C Marine utilizes some of the most state-of-the-art equipment in the shipbuilding industry, and C&C Marine continually expands its facility and upgrades its equipment in order to maximize productivity, cost-efficiency and safety.
