Barges generally have the shortest build times, followed by towboats, with dredges and other complex vessels requiring the longest timelines. Because we build indoors with overhead cranes and have integrated engineering on site, we consistently deliver on time—avoiding the weather delays and design miscommunications that cause overruns at other yards. Yes. Repair and conversion services are a core part of our business for commercial marine vessels. We handle structural repairs, hull modifications, vessel conversions, machinery installations, and emergency repair work on barges, towboats, dredges, and other commercial vessels. Please note that we do not service recreational boats. Our ABS and USCG certified welders and skilled tradespeople can accommodate projects ranging from minor maintenance to major structural overhauls.
